About

Why this site exists and who built it

Motivation

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is a rapidly evolving field, and the number of security notions used to analyze FHE schemes has grown with it. Keeping track of what exists, what each notion captures, how they relate to one another, and how to achieve them has become genuinely difficult.

SecurityNotionsZoo aims to be a structured, accessible reference that maps this space: a living taxonomy where notions are defined, linked to their source papers, and placed in relation to each other.

Aim

The goal of this site is to help researchers and practitioners navigate the security notions relevant to FHE, whether they are choosing a notion for a new construction, understanding a proof in a paper, or simply trying to get oriented in the field. The relation graph on the home page gives a bird's-eye view of the implication structure, while individual notion pages provide definitions, references, and context.

Contributors

This website was created by Jules Dumezy, who also maintains it. We thank our contributors, who helped grow the site by adding notions and improving the content:
